During your visit, the pediatrician may suggest that you see a specialist for further evaluation. In addition, certain insurance companies require that a referral be obtained from your primary pediatrician prior to scheduling an appointment to see a specialist. After your visit, you will be given the number for the specialist requested. Once you have scheduled the appointment, please call our office to let us know the date and time of the appointment. We will then be able to fax over the appropriate forms and clinic notes to the specialist’s office. If you are having difficulty making an appointment with the specialist, please contact our office, and we will provide further assistance.
